COEP hosts one of the largest technical festivals in the country, MindSpark. A student's initiative, it is an encouraging platform to bring together some of the sharpest engineering minds in the country.
Since its inception in 2007, MindSpark, the annual national technical festival of COEP has grown to become one of the most coveted events in the country, receiving a footfall of over 20,000 last edition.
After the completion of 10 successful editions, MindSpark is now embarking on its 11th edition this year with many new and exciting events lined up. The theme this year is “Towards Techno-Utopia”, an effort towards achieving an ideal society with the help of progressive technology.
They have over 50 events, catering to all disciplines of engineering as well as non-technical events. We also conduct several workshops across the state, introducing state of the art technology and providing holistic and practical learning.
This year we present the pilot edition of our technical exhibition, showcasing fresh talent and resourceful engineering. The three days of MindSpark will witness a wide array of start-ups, displaying their ideas and inventions to the masses. We are also proud to announce version 2.0 of Pune’s only, student organized 24-hour Hackathon.
They are now under the patronage of Indian National Commission for cooperation with UNESCO, Digital India, Make In India and Startup India.
Started as a cause in 2015, Paakhi, a social initiative by MindSpark aims at empowering women. Through various workshops conducted during the course of the event Paakhi wishes to create awareness towards girl/women empowerment and equip them with the ability to sustain themselves
It will be held on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of September 2017.
