AEEE 2017 was conducted online from April 20 to April 23, while the entrance exam was held in offline mode on April 29. AEEE 2017 Application Form was released by Amrita University on December 1, 2016 in both online and offline mode. The last date to submit the application form of AEEE 2017 in both the modes was April 15, 2017. The slot booking for the computer-based test of AEEE 2017 was open from April 1 to April 11, 2017. AEEE 2017 is a university level entrance exam conducted for admissions to various undergraduate engineering courses

The AEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria to be satisfied is as mentioned below:

  • The candidate must have been born on or after 1 July 1996.
  • The candidate should have qualified the 10+2/equivalent examination.
  • In the qualifying exam, the candidates must have secure 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Along with this, individually in these subjects, the candidates must have also secured at least 55% marks.
  • Candidates withholding three years Diploma in Engineering degree, as awarded by State Board of Technical Education, with 60% marks may also apply.
  • Qualified candidates in the entrance test will be admitted to undergraduate engineering programmes through AEEE 2017 counselling.

  • Candidates are required to attend AEEE 2017 counselling in any one of the three campuses of Amrita University as per their convenience.

  • Candidates can opt for any branch in any one of the three campuses as per their preferences and availability of the seats at the time of counselling.

  • Counselling schedule of AEEE 2017 is available now and counselling is being held from June 9 to 17, 2017.

  • Candidates can download their counselling call letter from May 10, 2017.

The exam pattern of AEEE will be as below:

  • The examination will be held in online and offline mode.
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • The candidates will have to solve 100 multiple choice questions.
  • The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Only the Mathematics section will carry 40 questions, rest will have 30 questions each.
  • 3 marks will be given for a correct answer and negative marking of 1 mark will be done for incorrect answers.‚Äč
