AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is a national-level computer-based management entrance examination. It is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS).This test is conducted four times a year. The test consists of multiple-choice objective-type questions.“The scores of ATMA test are valid for Maharashtra institutional level MBA seats also, in addition to All-India level seats,” informs the official website. ATMA is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes offered at various Institutes/Universities for the academic year. In 2017, the exam will be held four times - February 12, May 28, June 25 and July 23.

The Eligiblity Criteria for ATMA is as follows

1.Candidates must be citizen of India.
2.Final year graduate candidates whose result will be announced before commencement of admission for academic year can also apply for the test.
3. ATMA can be taken by those aspirants whose age is 21 and above .
4.The appearing candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree or should have qualified in an equivalent examination under 10+2+3 scheme (any stream). It should be noted that only those candidates who have pursued a course from a University that is recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India are eligible for the exam.
5.Candidate must secure a minimum of 50% marks in graduation, or in the equivalent degree. This aggregate marks may however vary for different management institutes or Universities.
6. Working and non-working women can also apply for the exam.

Application Fees:

The candidates must pay a fees of Rs.1100.

The candidates should fill the form by filling the complete requirements asked such as Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the On-line Fee Payment form (Important: You should write correct mail ID and date of Birth).

Candidates willing to appear for the exam can register, apply online and fill in the application form. Also, application forms can be purchased from notified centres of ATMA.

ATMA is a computer based objective type multiple choice test of 3 hours. It involves 180 questions, where 1 mark is allotted for each question.

Note: There is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
